Euro Cup Fever

I really don't know what has come over me, since when am i such a soccer fanatic.. oh yeah the past "my whole life" and more specifically the past few years as far as following english soccer on TV. Is it treason that i don't give a rats ass about U.S. soccer, i mean i wouldn't back them in the world cup if you paid me to. Is it similar to being a yankee fan and living in Florida? i mean sure you live there but your heart is in NY... is my heart in Manchester, England? Should i follow my heart?.. i at least should go shake hands with the fukker no? This england trip is long overdue, i have been talking about it, but its gonna be a pretty penny! This Euro cup has me leaving work to go home and watch pay per view, screaming at the top of my lungs like a mad man in my apartment... i wonder what the neighbors think. Its not an option, i'll stay late just to take that extended lunch to watch the game. Shit, on thursday England plays Portugal, the hosts of the euro cup... this is mayhem.. my heart never pounded so hard, not at the world series, not at anything... its crazy... i know some europeans find their way into my blog, do you guys understand what i'm talkin about? Can you tell me what it is thats wrong with me? OY!!!!

Well as a bonafide English fan... I'll say this much... you are either British in descent or are a freak of nature! I'm a Newcastle Utd fan, and love my team with a passion!! With that same passion I hate the team you support... who I wont mention in the same comment!

Football is the British national game, and there is none better or more beautiful than footy! English Football is the most exciting, hard fought and totally honest of all the leagues in Europe and that is a fact!!

The fact that you have so much passion for the beautiful game, gives you a lot of 'cred' bro... it's definitely all good! ;) England to hammer Portugal btw just in case you didn't know which team to support tomorrow..Come on E-N-G-L-A-N-D!! :D
