Off with his head!
07.01.04 (10:36 am)   [edit]
Thanks to Scarlett and brogonzo for sparking this idea.

Ok the abominable snowman: A hairy humanlike animal reportedly inhabiting the snows of the high Himalaya Mountains. Also called yeti.

I am trying to think back into my memory banks for some recollection of abominable snowman references... i am coming up blank, maybe a cartoon... an abominable snowman on iceskates? Alvin and the Chipmunks??, Ducktales? I am really glad to have the word of the day be: abominable, which i can hardly say more than once correctly. Brogonzo you sent me on a stint!

There's an Abominable Snowman in that incredibly old stop-motion Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Christmas special from the '60s.

I don't remember much reference to the abominable snowman except when other children were noting things they were terrified of. Glad I could help ya out with a blog idea!

Out of all my uncles, I think I liked Uncle Cave Man the best. We called him Uncle Cave Man because he lived in a cave, and sometimes, he would eat one of us.

Later, we found out he was a bear.
