i wish i had a magic little pocket watch that could turn back the hands of time... i think i would go back to 1986, i'd be living at West Point NY listening to the beach boys on the porch of my house. I was bouncing a basketball by myself, had some g.i. joes around on the ground.. not really paying attention to anything, just being a 6 year old lost in my own world. I remember it vividly, i sat down... took a sip of my capri sun orange drink, whiped my head cause it was scorching hott... the older boys across the street were playing basketball... all of the sudden the music they were listening to changed and i heard a loud chant... "NO SLEEP TILL..." then a wicked guitar riff... "BROOKLYN!!" The bass dropped as did the ball i was bouncing... i didn't know what the fuck just happened, but my life had just changed, my first drop of the beastie boys... i have never been the same.
