Ok so this is what happened, i went to the Dave Matthews concert in Camden, NJ. Pounded a few guiness before i went in, though i do not believe that had anything to do with the bashing i caught. Went in with the 35mm camera and the digital... around my neck in the camera bag. No problems even though they said no cameras... they just let me in. So we went to ours seats, i went with a gal pal of mine. I busted out the camera and decided to get closer to snag a few shots. Thats when the security people were all like ok you are out of here, you don't have a press pass, get out. Fine and dandy, i left. I immediately tryed to get back in by way of bribery, i've worked many a door at many events.. so i didn't think it would be a problem... money talks bullshit walks. It didnt work right off the bat, and i'm sure it would have but 2 event staff came up to me and were like what are you trying to scalp tickets, come with us. I was like what the fuck are you talking about, i just got booted out for the camera and i am trying to finnagle my way back in... i have nothing to do with tickets. They were like whatever come with us and the dudes grabbed my arms. I was not having this, i started to struggle broke hold from one dude and kinda elbowed him away the other dude tried to grab me harder so i struggled harder.. they succeeded at dragging me into this side security office, and i really got pissed and started throwing expletives around like it was my job. I think i pissed them off and everything in the room was video taped, so i think they hit the lights to get even more physical with me, or during the struggle i coulda knocked us into the switch... unlikely but i wouldnt know. when the lights went off i got livid, and pretty much so did they, i was struggling something fierce and eventually all 5 or whatever of them had me on the floor boot pinning my head to the ground arms twisted around via some thumb holds, which strained my thumb. it was seriously only like 30 seconds of mayhem but i got roughed up pretty nice nice. i caught a couple of them pretty well also though... one dude was kinda out of breath and looked unhappy. they then got some sort of word that i wasnt the dude trying to scalp and they gave me all my shit back... cash cameras... made like they were turning me over to the cops and booted me out the door. i was alone, i was heated... i caught my breath and one other event staff guy was actin all tough tellin me to cross the street or else he would get me arrested... so i went across the street, put my bag down and went back over and asked him if he wanted to shoot the fair one and proceeded to tell him how i would fuck him up and was saying lets go right now you and me... one on one... he was like hey sarge you hear this he is threatening me, the cop payed no attention and i just walked back across the street while calling him a pussy. I didnt want to get arrested anyway. i calmed down, say that my hand was swollen to shit, called my friend.. we made our way back to NYC and i went to the ER at mt sinai hospital to get x rays... they came up negative so i went home. Now i am just mad and sore. No real injuries to cry about, just sore. hand will heal soon i hope. Lesson to be learned, don't get rowdy with 5 dudes. Though it wasn't the first time something like this has happened to me, i think it will be the last. 5 on 1 at least. No more fighting, i am a Lover, not a fighter... thats all in my past :twisted:

Ya know the problem with security gaurds is they think they are the police. Dude I would sue their asses. I just saw on court tv the other dayabout a boy who was harrassed and beaten by a security gaurd and he sued him and the kid won. I would at least make them pay for your trip to the ER. :)

yea, i mean i am definitely a puppy dof 98% of the time... but when i get pushed over a line i can get hard to handle... after a few years of bar fighting, highschool brawls... playing ice hockey and slap boxing for fun.. you just kinda know how to throw the fists. You wish you would lose that experience and become innocent again... but it doesnt go away, it just hides and when it comes out.. people who don't expect it or havent seen it before are like ummm you are crazy!!! LOL
